Zhangmu Trek in Tibet
This trip is very strenuous and the distances traveled
are much longer. We begin our trek from Simikot in Nepal
to Mt. Kailash, the holy mountain of Tibet. In a wild
road drive, cross streams, high snow-covered passes and
vast plains down to the trek end and exit point, Zhangmu.
Program Outline:
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu. Check into your hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu sight-seeing. Hotel.
Day 03: Fly to Nepalgunj. Hotel.
Day 04: Fly to Simikot. Trek starts. Camp.
Day 05 - 25: Trekking. Camp.
Day 26: End of trek at Zhangmu. Hotel.
Day 27: Drive to Kathmandu. Hotel.
Day 28: Day at leisure in Kathmandu. Hotel.
Day 29: Transfer to airport for final departure. |
