Everest & Annapurna

This is a classic trek for the first timers who have never been to Nepal. This trip is a combination of the 2 most beautiful areas of the Nepal Himalaya. The Annapurna range and the famous Everest Region. They both are so different ,from scenery, land escape and finally the people and the culture of the Nepalese people.

The trek starts from Kathmandu to Pokhara the beautiful Pewa Tal Lake where the views of the Annapurna Ranges is spectacular specially the Fist Tail Mountain. You trek thought beautiful rice terrace fields and beautiful villages of the Gurung tribes. From here you head down the Seti River for fun rafting trip. Its easy rafting and very relaxing. After Annapurna’s we head east to the Everest region the home of the Sherpa’s. The views of your first sight of Mount Everest are breathing taking. The trek passes through beautiful Sherpa villages’ and your final destination is the capital of the Sherpa people - The famous Namche Bazaar. We explore the bazaar and its people. Our final journey is a classic flight from Shangboche on a Pilatus Potter to Lukla and then schedule flight back to Kathmandu. Our last days are spent shopping in Kathmandu before we say good-bye to Nepal and its people and the mountains.

Day 6: Trek To Himalaya Lodge, Ghandruk. (6,600ft/2,012m). Day 7:  Himalaya Lodge. Day 8: Trek To Gurung Lodge, Majgaun: (4620ft/1,400m). Day 9: Trek To Basanta Lodge, Dhampus (5000 Ft / 1525 M). Day 10: Trek To Pokhara (3300 Ft /1000 M). Day11: Rafting. Day 12: Morning Rafting - Back To Kathmandu. Day 13: Fly Kathmandu To Lukla 40 Mins (2800m), Commence Trek To Phakding [8613ft]. Day 14:  Trek To Monzo. [9500 Ft / 2850m]. Day 15: Trek To Namche  [11350ft / 3440m]. Day 16: Explore Namche Village. Day 17: Flight From Sangboche - Lukla (3720m) And To Kathmandu (1310m). Day 18: At Leisure In Kathmandu. Day 19:  Fly Back Home.

Guaranteed to run for a minimum of 4 persons. In the rare event that we cancel a trek we will refund you in full and give you at least 6 weeks warning.

HOTELS:
KATHMANDU: We use the five star Annapurna, Dwarika, Gokarna Forest Resort, Yak & Yeti & SHANKAR Hotel; They are all very comfortable and very close to the city . They do have a swimming pool .


MEAL PLAN:
Bed and breakfast in Kathmandu, all meals on trek.   

FLIGHTS:
Please check this with your own travel agent at home.

SATELLITE PHONE:
Tenzing Asian Holidays will be carrying a Sat phone for use in the rare case of a medical emergency. If you want to make a call home to your love ones then it will cost you USD 8 per minute.


IMPORTANT NOTE:   
Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary, but as this is Adventure Travel in a remote mountain region, we cannot guarantee it!  On treks such as this there will doubtless be changes to the itinerary above, in terms of anything from the on-the-spot choice of tea house to when a rest day is taken.  Weather conditions, road conditions, vehicle breakdowns, availability of porters and the health of trekkers can all contribute to changes.  The Trek Sirdar will ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but an easy-going nature is an asset!
